Cover of Faith in Crisis

This small book of thirty short articles is free to download in PDF format. (See below for details on how to do that.) The reflections, mostly from my blog Rumours of Hope, cover topics such as faith, trust, doubt, God’s goodness and suffering. They are in no particular order — it’s a book to dip into rather than read cover to cover. I hope and pray that it will encourage you in these difficult times.

How to download and use the pdf file

Click here to open the file, or right click the link to download the file to your computer. Save it somewhere where you can find it. You can now read it using any PDF reader. If you want to read it on a mobile phone, I suggest using the Xodo app. It has a reading mode which allows you to enlarge the print without zooming in and out.

If you would like to read it on a Kindle: create a new email and attach the file you’ve just saved. Put your personal Kindle address as the recipient. (You can find your kindle address in the settings on your kindle, under “Your Account”). Write CONVERT in the subject line, then click Send. You should soon receive an email from Amazon asking you to confirm that you want to send the file to your Kindle. Click “Verify” and after a short while the file should appear on your Kindle. For more details, see this Amazon help page.

Update: I’ve just changed the font in the text to make it easier to read. If you’ve already downloaded it and are having trouble reading it, try downloading it again.
